Our Story – Joseph Daniels
Based in Staffordshire, UK, Joseph Daniels is a small family business with father, Steve, and the two sons Joseph and Daniel. Steve’s background is 35 years in engineering including metallurgy (the science of metals) and a passionate home cook and baker.
Utilising the knowledge from extensive years in engineering, metals and the science of cooking, we have been able to develop a wide range of baking steels with excellent performance and quality.
As all our products are designed, manufactured, packed and shipped directly from our unit in Staffordshire, we are able to provide these products at an unbeatable price and provide direct customer support.

All our materials are sourced locally
Our baking steels undergo a surface treatment that provides both an attractive finish and also enables a more effective seasoning process. All our baking are pre seasoned and ready to use out of the box. All steels are supplied with a 100% natural and UK sourced beeswax formula wax to maintain and enhance your baking steel
We are passionate about food and understand both the science of baking and steel in order to provide the help and advice where needed, directly from our facility in Stafford.
